Jeremy  Claston Holness, the 30-year-old man who escaped from police custody yesterday Thursday 19th July 2012, has been arrested and is back in the police cells.

Holness escaped from his police guard at the Cayman Islands Hospital about 12:30pm on Thursday, 19th July 2012.

He was arrested this evening, Friday 20th July, following a police operation at School House Road George Town. He was arrested on suspicion of escaping lawful custody.

The media and public are thanked for the assistance they have provided as police searched for Holness.
