Shortly after 7:30PM yesterday, 24 August, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery that took place near the intersection of Rock Hole Road and Mary Street in George Town. 

It was reported that shortly after 1:00AM, early that morning, a grey Honda Fit approached the victim and the occupants of the vehicle engaged the victim in conversation.  The vehicle then drove off, only to return again shortly after.  The passenger exited the vehicle brandishing a firearm, demanding a generator and power wash machine from the victim. After relinquishing the items to the men, they assaulted the victim and then drove off.

The passenger of the vehicle was described as dressed in full black clothing.  Both men were wearing masks covering their faces. 

The matter is currently under investigation by CID & Task Force officers. Anyone with any information is asked to contact 949-4222.
