West Bay Light House Gardens Project (Phase 3) on Track for Christmas 2023 Handover

West Bay, Cayman Islands – October 19, 2023: The Ministry of Planning, Agriculture, Housing and Infrastructure (MPAHI) is excited to announce that Phase 3 of the West Bay Light House Gardens Project, spearheaded by the National Housing Development Trust (NHDT), is well on its way to completion and will be handed over to homeowners in time for Christmas 2023. This update follows a routine site visit conducted on Thursday, October 19, 2023, by a team from the Ministry of Planning, Agriculture, Housing and Infrastructure, led by the Honourable Johany ‘Jay’ Ebanks, MP, Minister of Planning, Agriculture, Housing and Infrastructure.

“At the Ministry of Planning, Agriculture, Housing and Infrastructure, we recognize the profound importance of home ownership and its positive impact on our communities. With unwavering dedication, we continue to conduct regular project assessments to ensure the timely delivery of these nineteen (19) homes for Christmas 2023. We eagerly anticipate bringing added joy and happiness to families who have eagerly awaited this significant milestone in their lives – homeownership,” said Honourable Johany ‘Jay’ Ebanks.

The Ministry of Planning, Agriculture, Housing and Infrastructure extends hearty congratulations to the nineteen (19) homeowners of the West Bay Light House Gardens Project (Phase 3).

The site visit’s progress updates were provided by Mr. Robert Johnson, Chief Operations Officer at National Housing Development Trust (NHDT), and accompanied by Miss Tricia Shand, Administrator of the Affordable Housing Initiative at National Housing Development Trust (NHDT).
