UPDATE: Police Renew Appeal for Witnesses in East End Aggravated Burglary

UPDATE (20 November):
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the aggravated burglary which took place on Austin Conolly Drive on Saturday, 18 November.
Both of the suspects in the incident are described as being of dark complexion and slim build. They were wearing biker gloves, long slim jeans, hooded shirts, and had their faces covered. Anyone who may have seen men fitting this description around between 9:00PM and 10:00PM that night, in the Austin Conolly Drive area, is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 947-2220.

Police have implemented plans to increase proactive patrols in the East End area in response to community concerns, as we continue to work together for the safety of our communities.
Initial Release (19 November):
At about 9:20PM yesterday, 18 November, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched officers to a report of an aggravated burglary at an address on Austin Conolly Drive in East End. It was reported that two masked men forced their way into the residence when the occupant answered the door. The men brandished a machete at the occupant, demanded cash, and then searched the residence. They then broke into and searched two other apartments at the location, before leaving with a quantity of cash and personal items. No one was injured during the incident.
The matter is currently under investigation. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 947-2220.
