Bush cancels Mary Miller Hall Meeting for tonight (30)

The public meeting Premier McKeeva Bush  had called to outline his Budget proposals including his controversial 10% tax on work permit holders salaries at the Mary Miller Hall tonight (30) has been cancelled at short notice.He cited “disruptive elements” and after consulting with his cabinet members he had been advised to implement a “cooling off” period.

The meeting will now take place on Wednesday Aug 1st at the Sir John Cumber School hall in West Bay.

A spokesperson for the planned peaceful demonstration against the income tax said they are “very, very disappointed in you, McKeeva.”
