Police Investigate Serious Collision on Seaview Road, East End
At around 12:45AM this morning, Friday 23 February, police and other emergency services responded to a report of a collision on Seaview Road, east of Health City, East End.
Initial investigations indicate a Honda Fit was travelling west on Seaview Road, when it left the roadway and collided with a light pole on the opposite side of the road.
Three persons, one male and two females, were extracted from the vehicle and taken to George Town Hospital for treatment. The man sustained critical injuries and is currently in a stable critical condition. One of the women sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital. The other women was treated and discharged. The two women have been arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The incident required a full road closure to allow investigations to be conducted. The roadway has since been reopened.

Public Advisory: A serious single vehicle collision has occurred on Seaview Road, east of Health City, East End. As a result of ongoing enquiries, the entire road is closed to allow investigations to be conducted. Motorists are asked to avoid the area. Police will advise when the road is re-opened.
