Cayman DHRS Advises of Delays and Service Interruptions Due to System Upgrade starting 11 Mar
Grand Cayman, Friday, 8 March 2024 – The Department of Health Regulatory Services (DHRS) wishes to inform its valued customers of unavoidable delays in the delivery of its regular services, beginning on Monday, 11 March 2024.
“The department is currently undertaking a significant overhaul of our system, processes and procedures, which has been long overdue,” explains DHRS Director, Mr. Mervyn Conolly. “When completed, we will have a more modern, user friendly, accessible and sustainable process in place that will be a significant improvement over the current system. However, to get there we must inevitably go through the usual growing pains associated with making changes and embracing technology, so we thank the community in advance for their patience,” he adds.
The system upgrade will be impacting the department’s operations over the coming months, including intermittent closures of its customer service kiosk and delays in the delivery of its regular services. The department is committed to keeping the public informed and apologises for the inconvenience that these interruptions may cause.
