DVDL Announces Immediate Closure of Crewe Road Office Due to Flooding/SAVANNAH DISTRICT – PLANCAYMAN PUBLIC CONSULTATION – POSTPONED

DVDL Announces Immediate Closure of Crewe Road Office Due to Flooding

June 10, 2024 – George Town, Grand Cayman – The Department of Vehicle and Driver’s Licensing (DVDL) announces the immediate closure of its Crewe Road office today, Monday, June 10th, due to issues with rainwater intrusion into the main building, particularly affecting the customer lobby. This situation poses significant safety risks and liabilities.

Our top priority is ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers and staff. Due to the water damage, the facility is currently unsafe for operations. Unfortunately, our outer district offices are also closed on Mondays, making the Crewe Road office closure particularly impactful.

We are closely monitoring the weather conditions and aim to resume normal hours of operation tomorrow, pending further developments. In the meantime, we encourage customers to use our online services for renewals, payments, and other essential needs.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate the community’s understanding and patience as we work to address and resolve this issue promptly.

For further updates and information, please visit our website https://www.dvdl.gov.ky/ or contact our customer service line at 345.945.8344.

End of release.
