SYNOPSIS

Light to moderate easterly winds and seas are expected for the next 24 hours in association with a slack pressure gradient over the northwest Caribbean. A surface trough over eastern Cuba is expected to move over the Cayman area this afternoon bringing an increased chance in showers.

Today: A mix of clouds and sun. Winds E at 10 to 20 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear skies this evening. Scattered showers and thunderstorms developing overnight. Winds E at 10 to 15 mph.

Chance of rain: 50%.

Sea: Slight to moderate with a wave height of 2 to 4 feet.

UV: 11 EXTREME (Daily Max at 11 am)
