Cayman: Sister Islands Students Join Culture Keepers Fun!

From Cayman National Cultural Foundation

The Cayman National Cultural Foundation (CNCF) continues to partner with several local institutions to present a cultural passport initiative to primary aged students in the Sister Islands.

“Culture Keepers” in the Sister Islands runs from 26 July – 31 August, and this programme will feature an interactive downloadable activity booklet that students can fill out through visiting each organization. Students will receive a stamp for some organisations they visit, and those who collect all stamps will officially be crowned “Culture Keepers” with a celebratory pin.

Students can receive stamps from:

Cayman Brac Heritage House and

Cayman Brac Museum

Other featured sites are Pioneer Bakery and Little Cayman Museum where children can discover interesting facts and learn even more about their islands.

The activities are accessible, and serve to allow students to engage with Cayman’s arts, culture, and heritage. Opening hours will vary between institutions, and further guidelines are available on the CNCF website, access at www.artscayman.org
