My heart is so full today and I wanted to follow up with two quick follow ups.

Second, I had an amazing experience opening up the 10th anniversary of the Nelson Mandela Washington Fellowship Summit in DC yesterday! 

In a room with hundreds of leaders from all across the 

#african continent and around the world- I boldly shared the frustrations of our generation and the rallying cry for new transformational leadership within our communities.

In a time of adversity, turmoil and societal change, we do not need traditional leaders. We need bold new global leaders who have small beginnings but grand destinies.

We are no longer inspired by titles.
No longer impressed by degrees.
And no longer shaken by powerful family names.

Give us the story of your struggle.
Give us the journey of your triumphs.
Give us the promise or your future.

The world is calling for leaders of promise. Will you answer the call?
