SYNOPSIS

Light to moderate easterly winds and seas are expected across the Cayman area today as a weak pressure gradient lingers over the northwest Caribbean. The CINWS notes the tropical wave over the Central Atlantic that the National Hurricane Center suggests has a moderate to high chance of developing into a tropical storm between the next 2 to 7 days. This system poses no threat to the Cayman Islands.
