SYNOPSIS

A weak pressure gradient across the northwest Caribbean will support light winds and slights sea across the Cayman area during the next few days. A tropical wave, passing to the south of the Cayman area may contribute to isolated showers and possible thunder across the island today. The National Hurricane Center continues to issue advisories on hurricane Ernesto. Further information can be found at www.nhc.noaa.gov. This storm poses no immediate threat to the Cayman Islands.
