On Wednesday, 11 September, the National Emergency Notification System (NENS) App will be activated as part of a planned exercise to mark the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Ivan. Residents are encouraged to download the app in advance if they have not done so already. This is a routine operation, and there is no need for alarm or panic.
