The Resilience of Cayman: Surviving Hurricane Ivan Exhibition

This exhibition is dedicated to one of the most powerful and devastating storms in the history of the Caribbean. On September 11, 2004, Hurricane Ivan, a ferocious Category 5 storm, unleashed its full fury on Grand Cayman. This exhibition chronicles the harrowing events before, during, and after the hurricane, highlighting the island’s extraordinary resilience in the face of overwhelming destruction.

A group from Missouri enjoyed an exclusive tour of the Cayman Collections Centre (former Motor Museum) in West Bay. Immerse Summer Camp 2024: A Month of Adventure and Learning!

This year’s Immerse Summer Camp at the Cayman Islands National Museum was a huge success! Extended to four weeks, thanks to popular demand and sponsorship from CICSA Credit Union Cayman, campers aged 7-14 explored historic sites like Pedro St. James Castle and Mission House, visited attractions such as the Cayman Parrot Sanctuary and Botanic Park, and even embarked on an underwater adventure with the Nautilus Semi-Submarine.
