The Cayman Islands Government is pleased to announce that the 2024 Pirates Week festival will take place from 8 – 30 November 2024. Join us for three weeks of vibrant celebrations, showcasing the rich culture and maritime history of our islands under the theme “Setting Sail Through Time.” 

The Pirates Week Festival Committee is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications from vendors for this year’s Pirates Week celebrations! 

This year’s theme, “Setting Sail Through Time,” invites the community to embark on a journey that explores the rich history and vibrant culture of the Cayman Islands.

“We are thrilled to welcome vendors who can help bring this theme to life,” said Patrice Beersingh, the Chair of the Pirates Week Committee. “We encourage all vendors to showcase not only cultural food and family-friendly activities but also to come prepared to depict the Cayman of yesteryears. This festival is a fantastic opportunity to engage with both locals and visitors and create memorable experiences for everyone.”

Vendors interested in participating should register by Friday, 25 October . There are spaces available for traditional food stalls, food trucks, jerk pans, craft/novelty items and ice cream trucks at the launch event on Saturday, 9 November and the grand finale on Saturday, 16 November, both taking place in George Town. This is a wonderful chance to highlight your unique offerings during this beloved festival.
