In this two-hour course you will learn: the foundations required to run a successful and law-abiding strata. The course will review the key aspects of the Strata Titles Registration Law & Bye-Laws, the obligations placed upon both Strata and Proprietor and the rights and remedies available to the Strata in the event of a breach. 25 October –  High Road Leadership- 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

30 October – Basic Accounting Made Easier. 9:00am – 1:00pm  

This half-day course is designed to transform accounting into easily understood concepts. This course is for anyone who needs to gain an understanding of basic accounting as part of his or her job.  Learn the difference between debits and credits for different account types; financial statement categories such as assets, liabilities, equity, revenue and expense. 31 October- the Grammar Game Time: 9:00am – 1:00 pm 

The Cayman Islands is an international business hub and its written communications travel far and wide around the world. When someone uses grammar incorrectly, or makes obvious spelling mistakes, this is viewed either as carelessness or a lack of professional credibility.

1 November – Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic. 

Registration begins at 11:00 am. Tournament begins at 1:00 pm 

It’s time to enjoy one of the Chamber’s most entertaining networking events: the annual Chamber Golf Classic, on Friday 1 November at the North Sound Golf Club. A premier networking event that attracts many teams from different businesses from all across Cayman, golfers will compete for outstanding prizes for males and females with the closest to the pin and longest drives. A portion of the proceeds will go towards the Chamber’s Workplace Development programmes and local charities. 

14 November – Annual Chamber of Commerce Parliamentary Luncheon  

12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Registration: 11.30 am. Location: Hotel Indigo
