With Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays approaching, the Passport and Corporate Services Office is urging travellers to check their passports ahead of travel time to ensure they are valid. 

The office is encouraging residents to: 

• Check their passport expiry date to ensure validity for the dates of travel,
• Check that their passport is valid based on the country’s entry requirements. For example, when travelling to the United States, the British Overseas Territories passport must be valid for at least six months after the date of intended departure from United States,
• Apply for or renew passports before travel time, and 
• Apply for any necessary visas as required for their travel.
