NEW ACTION: General Mills, stop ghosting us this Halloween!
Let’s turn Halloween treats into something sweet for everyone. Call on General Mills to reveal its cocoa sourcing!
As Halloween creeps closer, it’s time to face the scariest part—what’s lurking in our chocolate supply chains. As we stock up on candy, General Mills, maker of Cocoa Puffs, Betty Crocker baked goods, and other favorites, continues to hide the truth about its cocoa sourcing.
Without transparency, we risk supporting terrifying practices—like forced child labor. This Halloween, let’s make sure the only spooky thing about kids is their costumes—not the dark reality of forced child labor behind our candy.
We are launching a new action to demand that General Mills steps up its transparency and cleans up its cocoa supply chains.

A great way for General Mills to provide the transparency that consumers require is to take part in the Annual Chocolate Scorecard.[1] The Chocolate Scorecard has driven change before. Last year, with your overwhelming support, we successfully got Mondelez and Unilever to join the Scorecard, and we can do it again.
Wouldn’t it be nice knowing that the chocolate you stole from the Halloween candy bowl or that spoonful of Häagen-Dazs ice cream is free of human rights abuses? By signing, you will help turn Halloween treats into something fun for everyone.

Other major industry players have begun improving their practices; now it’s General Mills’ turn. Let’s hold them accountable together! |
