Cayman: CITA President Troy Leacock’s Endorsement of Cruise Tourism Praised by ACT

The Association for Cruise Tourism (ACT) wishes to express its gratitude to Cayman Islands Tourism Association (CITA) President Troy Leacock for his public endorsement of cruise tourism in the Cayman Islands.

“I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Mr. Leacock for his courageous stance at this critical time for our tourism industry.” Mr. Ellio Solomon, Official spokesperson of the Association for Cruise Tourism (ACT), said.

“Mr. Leacock’s actions reflect the vision and fortitude necessary to navigate the challenges facing our sector. He clearly understands that inaction on the part of cruise tourism will have detrimental effects directly on thousands of individuals in our economy and on our economy as a whole. His endorsement sends a strong message of support for cruise tourism, highlighting its vital role in our community.”

ACT praised CITA’s efforts to provide forums that will educate the public on the important issues surrounding cruise tourism.

“In these uncertain times, it is essential to have leaders who recognize what is right and are willing to stand up for it. ACT looks forward to continuing our partnership with CITA and working together to ensure a thriving future for cruise tourism in the Cayman Islands.” Mr. Solomon said.
