Cayman: Calling all Teachers, Educators, and Parents

Join us in making this year’s Gimistory Storytelling Festival unforgettable by encouraging young storytellers to “Give a Story” and share their unique voices.

Storytelling is the heart of the Gimistory Storytelling Festival – it’s a gift that deepens our understanding of one another. We invite our young people in the community to contribute their own stories through writing.

How to Participate:
Download the booklet and share with your class, student, or child to participate.
Selected stories will be invited to join our Cayman National Festival of the Arts storytelling workshops in February 2025 where children will have their stories performed by one of our local tellers on social media.

Why “Give a Story”? Every story is a gift – a way to connect, inspire, and share a part of oneself. By encouraging young people to share their stories, we help them find their voice, build confidence, and become part of the tradition that makes our community special.
Encourage your students and children to submit their stories at our offices or the Pirates Week District Days and come out to watch our international and local tellers share their stories with you!
