Road Closure Cayman Brac
There will be a temporary road closure on Stake Bay Road between Kirkconnell Street and Ryan’s Road from 5.30pm until 8.00 pm today. This is to facilitate a ceremony at the Cayman Brac Museum commemorating the 80th anniversary of the 1932 hurricane.
The following diversions will be in place-
- Traffic coming from the east will detour using Kirkconnell Street onto Stake Bay Front Road and exit on Ryan’s Road.
- Traffic travelling from the west will detour on Ryan’s Road onto Stake Bay Front Road and exit on Kirkconnell Street.
These block off points will be signed and manned by the police. People who live, or do business, between the points and those attending the function will be allowed access by the police.
