Kobre & Kim adds another in HK

U.S. litigation boutique Kobre & Kim has strengthened its judgment enforcement practice In Hong Kong with the hire of Shaun Wu from King & Spalding.
Wu specialises in international arbitration, litigation and regulatory and internal investigations. Together with fellow newly appointed lawyers Stephen Leontsinls In Grand Cayman and Robin Rathmell and Peter Tyers-Smith in London, Wu will work closely with Hong Kong-based colleagues Galvin Koo and Robin Baik, and James Stenning in the Cayman Islands.
“We are excited with the expansion of our International Judgment Enforcement practice in Asia and the Caribbean,” said Kobre & Kim Hong Kong partner William McGovern, in a statement. “Our multi-lingual team of experienced litigators is capable of executing complex cross-border strategies for judgment creditors or debtors, which is increasingly Important today amid rising cross border disputes.”
According to Kobre & Kim’s statement, the firm is seeking to expand its judgment enforcement practice over the next few months through new appointments In Hong Kong, the Cayman Islands, and the British Virgin Islands.
