At approximately 4:00 PM on Monday (26) at the junction of Pedro Castle Rd/ Shamrock Rd, Bodden Town, a Dump Truck loaded with gravel crashed into the LC Plumbing shop causing damage to the building. The truck overturned and the driver was injured. He was transported by ambulance to the George Town Hospital. His condition does not appear to be serious.

Motorists were asked to proceed with caution in the Tall Tree area of Shamrock Road as the main road was partially blocked. Crews worked to clear the obstruction from the accident.

A second vehicle was also involved; the driver was injured and taken to hospital.
