I will not resign and I have done nothing wrong says Cayman Premier

A defiant McKeeva Bush, Premier of the Cayman Islands, despite being arrested last Tuesday on corruption charges and misuse of a Government credit card, issued a statement to the media saying he will not be resigning as he has done nothing wrong.

He also said he felt “obligated” to travel to Jamaica for the conferral of an honorary doctorate upon himself and give the commencement address to the student body at the University College of the Caribbean. He will be returning to Cayman on Friday (14).

I have done nothing wrong and i shall not be resigning as premier,” he said. “I also wish to assure one and all that the goverment continues to operate as normal.”
