On Saturday, 19^th January 2013 at about 01:10 am, officers of the RCIPS were on patrol in the Safehaven area when they came upon a boat with 16 Cuban refugees (12 males and 4 females); the boat was docked. The boat is a 30’wooden hull.  Apparently, the refugees were at sea for about twenty days. They appeared in good health.

Officers of the Immigration Department transported the refugees to their detention centre.
