Police have confirmed a man has been shot in West Bay. 

Sources say the man has died as a result of his injuries. 

This latest shooting comes less than 48 hours after Robert Bush was murdered in a car,also in the West Bay area. 

Detectives were carrying out a detailed search of Sand Hole Road near Cobalt Coast where the shooting took place around 9pm on Thursday night.  

Sources say the man received multiple gun shot wounds. Paramedics were called but despite treatment the man died. 

Father of one Mr Bush, 28, died on Tuesday night. Police are yet to make any arrests.

It is not yet clear if the two incidents are related.
