(Grand Cayman – 12 Feb 2013) Being knowledgeable has paid off for two lucky winners who attended this year’s Chamber of Commerce Careers, Education, Training and Jobs Expo. Now in its 16^th year the Expo featured some 27 businesses, higher learning institutions and other organisations at the UCCI campus last Friday, 8 February.

As a returning major sponsor and exhibitor, Butterfield’s booth featured an interactive quiz game titled “It’s your Job” where attendees competed for a chance to win one of two iPad minis. All participants were asked to answer a series of five randomly selected questions ranging from the do’s and don’ts of interviews to general questions about Butterfield. Participants who provided correct answers to questions were then entered into the draw from which the winners were chosen. Alliah Akers and Denton McKogg were the day’s two lucky winners courtesy of Butterfield.

Also featured at the booth was Butterfield’s Undergraduate Scholarship offering, which accepts Caymanian applicants from ages 17 to 25 for their chosen field of study. The scholarship, which awards the recipient with up to US$30,000 per year for a maximum of four years of study, provides financial assistance to students with proven academic achievements and leadership abilities. The deadline for application is Friday, 31 May 2013.

Butterfield’s Senior Manager, Head of Human Resources Elizabeth Depledge said “We congratulate Alliah and Denton and thank them for stopping by and participating in the Butterfield quiz game “It’s your Job”.
