Record number of candidates to stand in May elections

The full list of candidates to stand in the Cayman Islands May 22nd Elections show a record number of 58 who have put their names forward for election.

In George Town 21 people are standing.

In West Bay 14 people are standing

In Bodden Town 14 people are standing

In East End 2 people are standing

In North Side 2 people are standing

In the Sister Islands 5 people are standing

The first person to be nominated was Charles Clifford who was clocked in at Bodden Town at 8:23am and the last person was a tie between Mark Scotland and Reynaldo (Vincent) Frederick who both clocked in at Bodden Town exactly at the last second -3:00pm.
