The Returning Officer for the electoral district of Bodden Town, Mr. Edward (Ned) Solomon, has concluded that Mr. Richard Christian, who was nominated and consented to such nomination as a candidate for that district, is not qualified to be a member of the Legislative Assembly pursuant to section 62 (1) of the Constitution.  Accordingly, his name will not appear on the elections ballot for the district of Bodden Town.

Mr. Richard Christian was advised of this decision by the Returning Officer on Wednesday evening after the close of nominations.
