Focus on Agriculture Show
The week of Monday, 1 April 2013, GIS Spotlight takes you back to Grand Cayman’s Agriculture Show, looks again at health insurance changes and revisits Bodden Town public beach’s new attractions.
The Ash Wednesday Agricultural Show in February proved why it is the grand showcase of all things agrarian on Grand Cayman. Tune into GIS Spotlight this week in an encore to see why it is steadily growing every year in popularity and content that includes animals, plants, fruits, vegetables, food, agriculture products, arts and crafts.

Premier and others why and how agriculture is good for the Islands. Learn about concerted efforts to get more young people involved in a vocation you might discover is surprisingly lucrative.
After that, hear about the expanded health insurance coverage and understand how it can impact you and what you can expect from coverage providers in the coming months.
At the last stop, we let you unwind at Bodden Town’s extensively refurbished Coe Wood public beach, complete with a spruced-up boat ramp. Take a tour of the new additions such as the cabana and kiosks that offer more family-friendly spots to better enjoy the tranquil, alluring beach.
