BISD attracts international visitors
Belton Independent School District’s (BISD) extensive use of technology has been attracting visitors from across the states, but as of Tuesday also international visitors. Birch Meniko and Andy Jones, educators from the Cayman Islands, visited and toured the campuses of Miller Heights and New Tech @ Waskow. The campus in the Cayman Islands is looking to begin deploying iPads to their students, beginning with Meniko’s third grade class.
The visitors toured both campuses to see how BISD implements the use of technology across the grade levels.
