The week of Monday, 8 April 2013, GIS Spotlight goes skateboarding into action, rekindles interest in living green and revisits government’s after-school excitement.

Keeping school-goers meaningfully engaged in healthy activities during the critical after-school hours is music to the ears of police everywhere. Yet the cadences ring sweeter when the RCIPS officers themselves can participate in making this a reality.

Now a joint project between the RCIPS and the Ministry of Education is ensuring precisely that. Join GIS Spotlight at Grand Cayman’s amazing skate park to see how much the children enjoy this interaction with the police. Meet officers who take time off their schedules to teach many of the kids an entirely new activity.
