The Modernized Cayman Islands Constitution!
The introduction of a renewed Cayman Islands Constitution is a triumph for the people, and for the democratic process. After an extensive period of discussion and negotiations, and the first local Referendum, the new Cayman Islands Constitution was approved by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Privy Council on June 10, 2009 and came into force on November 6, 2009.
People of all ages are encouraged to learn more about it and to celebrate this achievement, which will guide our lives for the foreseeable future.
