A teenager is due to appear in court later today on burglary charges.

On Tuesday 9 April, police officers stopped and checked a motor vehicle in George Town. As a result of that check a 17-year old male was arrested on suspicion of burglary when property was found on his person. Following the arrest further property was recovered.

He will appear in court later today (Friday, 12 April) charged with two counts of burglary, one in Victory Avenue on 2 April and another in Marbel Drive on 8 April.
