Butterfield caters to high net worth clients with account launch

Butterfield Private Bank, part of the Bermuda-headquartered Butterfield Group, has launched a six month, fixed-term deposit account designed for high and ultra high net worth individuals.
The Butterfield 25 Deposit offers competitive interest rates on a tiered schedule, based on the level of funds deposited. Clients will have instant access to 25 per cent of their initial deposit and will be allowed to roll over the deposit on each maturity date.
Individuals can have multiple Butterfield 25 accounts, each subject to the minimum deposit level, and are allowed one instant access withdrawal from each account.
The firm offers wealth management services to clients in the corporate, institutional and private sectors. Its parent company is The Bank of NT Butterfield & Son, established in Bermuda in 1858.
