Bush still attacks Governor at 11th hour
In an incredible statement, even for him, ex-premier McKeeva Bush made even more wild accusations at all his political opponents, even the Coalition for Cayman, and especially Governor Duncan Taylor, on the eve of the Cayman Islands Elections.

STATEMENT BY HONOURABLE W McKEEVA BUSH, OBE, JP
21″May 2013
The Governor carried out a vindictive attack on my Government and had me charged wrongly with theft for using my Government credit card, the usage of which was for my security while travelling on Government business. The Government did not pay the funds used although they should have paid. It was all paid by myself. I was ousted based on the Governor’s actions and the strong support of Rolston Anglin, Cline Glidden, Arden Mclean, Alden Mclaughlin and the PPM and the candidates of the C4C and its management.
All of this took place while the Governor know very well or ought to have known that the Elected Minister (and chief of being in opposition to me) furthermore; Mr. Rolston Anglin is, and has been for some time on a repayment plan, paying back Government for his use of Governments credit card for personal expenses. Mr. Alden McLaughlin used his Government credit card. Also so did Mark Scotland and Arden Mclean. All of them have extensively used their Government credit card for personal use yet no charges have been brought against them.
Yet I McKeeva Bush was charged for using mine, even though I repaid mine in full when notified by my Finance Staff.
These charges and attacks are nothing but a cheap, dirty and political opportunism for Rolston Anglin and Cline Glidden, Alden Mclaughlin and C4C and the rest of them to use this matter against me in hopes to better their chances of being elected or re-elected. I trust that the people of West Bay and the Cayman Islands will see through their shenanigans and will reject them in tomorrow’s election for their lies, deception and their outright political trickery.
