JINGLE BELL WALK/RUN SUNDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2013

HOSTED BY THE GRAND CAYMANIAN RESORT

While no one is ready to think about year-end and the holidays yet, we are in the planning stages for this year’s 11th Annual Jingle Bell Walk/Run and hope you will be joining us in sponsorship of this very successful and much anticipated event in December.  In consideration of annual budgets, we are again asking that you make Grand Cayman’s abused women and children a priority by setting aside the sponsorship funds for the Jingle Bell Walk/Run to be held on December 8th, 2013.

This Year’s CHALLENGE

This year, we wanted to add something a little different to the event.  The Cayman Islands Crisis Centre is about restoring a women’s sense of self-respect.  Self-respect is something that everyone faces, so we have designed a challenge to go with the Jingle Bell Walk/Run, called RESPECT ME.  Anyone can participate in the challenge, whether or not they are runners or walkers.  We are asking people to get involved by challenging themselves to pledge to do something important – a personal goal based on health, fitness, positive self-image and self-respect. Individuals will ask others to sponsor them in a personal development goal such as finishing the race, amount of training preparation for the run/walk, giving up French fries, volunteering at the event, or any other activity that will empower them.  These personal goals will not only gather a sense of community but would also increase personal respect and accomplishment.

Sponsor the Jingle Bell!

By participating as a sponsor, your organization will benefit from extended exposure through media campaigns and promotional efforts directed toward the supporters of the CICC.  We have four levels of sponsorship packages, listed below For a small donation, you’ll be able to enjoy excellent exposure to this important segment of your target audience.

Thank you in advance for your consideration and we look forward to your commitment to helping families live lives free from violence.

Best Regards,

Cayman Islands Crisis Centre
