The Official Funeral for the late Hon. Edna Moyle, OBE, JP announced
Observances honouring the late Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Hon Edna Marie Moyle, OBE, JP, conclude tomorrow (Saturday, 1 June 2013) with the funeral and burial in North Side. This will be preceded by a funeral procession from George Town to the Clifton Hunter High School. All events are public.

1. Cayman Islands flags at all Government Buildings will be flown at half-mast commencing Thursday, 30th May until sunset Friday 31st May, 2013.
2. The CI flag at the Government Administration Building shall be lowered at 9:00am on Thursday 30th May and Hon. Ministers and Members of Cabinet are invited to attend together with the family. All Government Departments will be asked to observe a minute of silence concurrently (during this time).
3. There will be an official lying in state at the Legislative Assembly Building on Thursday, 30th May starting at 10:00am until 3:00pm. Members of the Legislative Assembly are to lead off the procession followed by the family.
4. The official funeral takes place on Saturday 1st June at 3:00pm (no viewing) at the Clifton Hunter High School, Frank Sound. Interment follows at the W. O. Chisholm Family Cemetery, Grapetree Point, North Side.
a. The public is advised that buses are being made available to transport them to the cemetery and back to Clifton Hunter. All are encouraged to utilize these services due to limited parking at the graveside.
5. On Saturday morning, the public is encouraged to view the funeral procession as the hearse carrying the Hon. Edna Moyle leaves GT and heads to Frank Sound. The route is as follows, starting at 11:00am:
• Bodden’s funeral home to the 4-way-stop on hospital road
• Left on hospital road
• Left on Elgin Avenue
• Drive into Town, pass the GT Post Office and onto Edward Street
• Follow road and pass the Court House & LA
• Left on Albert Panton Street
• Left on Cardinal Avenue
• Follow road straight to Shedden Road
• Take round-a-bout at Mango Tree Restaurant
• Follow Crewe Road, onto Shamrock Road and all the way to Frank
Sound
