Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital Appoints Dr. Ranjit Singh as their Visiting Specialist in Neurology

Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital (CTMH) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Ranjit Singh, who specializes in Neurology.  He has an active practice in Canada, and is looking forward to joining CTMH at the Visiting Specialist Clinic to see patients with various neurological needs. Dr. Singh will arrive on 9 June 2013 for his first 1 week visit, and plans to make 4 such visits per year.

Dr. Singh is originally from Guyana and is a graduate of the University of the West Indies. After completing his post-graduate work in the UK, obtaining the MRCP (UK), Dr. Singh immigrated to Canada and entered a neurology program, there obtaining the FRCP (Canada). He is currently based in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.

Dr. Singh’s practice with CTMH in the Cayman Islands will cover a wide variety of common neurological problems including neuromuscular disease, epilepsy, headache, stroke and degenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s and Dementia as well as movement disorders. He will be bringing with him to the Island the latest in electrodiagnosic equipment to do nerve conduction studies and electromyography tests used to record and analyze electrical impulses between muscles and nerves, to diagnose, evaluate and treat neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, and nervous system disorders.
