The Cayman Islands Protocol Office have issued an advisory that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll’s 87^th Birthday Honours Presentation Ceremony and Parade will take place on Saturday 15^th June 2013, at 9.00 a.m. in front of the Legislative Assembly, the centre of George Town.

Youth associations, the uniformed services, senior public servants and recipients of Queen’s Honours will be partaking in the ceremony.

This is an annual celebration for the Queen’s birthday on Grand Cayman. There will be a presentation to previous honours recipients as well as the announcement of the 2013 recipients.

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) have also issued a release showing road closures in George Town in connection with the  Queen’s Birthday Parade.

The following junctions will be closed from 6.00am on Friday, 14 June, 2013

Harbour Drive/ Fort Street

Mary Street/Fort Street

Edward Street/Dr. Roy’s Drive

The junctions will reopen on Saturday following the conclusion of the Parade.
