Jodi Hydes is called to the bar
On Friday 14th June 2013, Jodi Hydes was called to the bar at a ceremony at Cayman’s Grand Court.
Attorney Michael Alberga moved for her admission and Justice Charles Quin found her a “fit and proper candidate”.
Ms Hydes is the newest associate of Travers Thorp Alberga and Mr. Alberga said she was “another promising addition to the legal profession, and another fine example of the promise that our people have to offer their country.”
Ms Hydes is the daughter of Susan and Gary Hydes, Caymanians of many generations. She graduated from Triple C School in 2003 and from the Cayman Islands Law School in 2009 with her Bachelor of Law (Honours) degree.
In 2010 Ms Hydes completed the Professional Practice Course and began working for Travers, Thorp and Alberga in May 2011.
In her address, Ms Hydes said she had had a remarkable journey to date and thanked Travers Thorp Alberga for the opportunity they had provided.
