West Bay arrest after ganja find
One person has been arrested and ganja discovered during a police raid in West Bay.
Officers have stressed that the operation was not connected in anyway to the recent murders in the area.
A spokeswoman for the RCIPS said: “We conducted a series of searches, in open land, and houses yesterday ( Tuesday 11 October) in the West Bay.
“An arrest was made but not in connection with recent murders. A small amount of ganja and two types of small arms ammunition was found abandoned, and investigations are continuing.
“The searches formed part of an intelligence led operation aimed at reducing gun crimes.”
