Atlantic Star House, the three-storey building located south of Lawrence Boulevard near the Esterley Tibbetts Highway in the Seven Mile Beach area, has been sold to one of the tenants.

Island Heritage Insurance Company has just announced they have bought the Atlantic Star House building for US$8.4 million. This makes this one of the largest commercial acquisitions in the Cayman Islands this year.

Island Heritage Insurance has been a tenant in the building since 2007.

The building has more than 12,000 square feet of office space and has disaster prevention and recovery features, such as being nearly 8 feet above sea level, and having self-contained power and freshwater supplies. It is also hurricane-rated.
