Tropics expected to be quiet for next few days
The tropical waters of the Atlantic, Caribbean, and Gulf of Mexico remain relatively quiet, and no organized systems are expected over the next days or two.
A large upper-level low-pressure system located over the Caribbean will basically prohibit any of the waves of disturbed weather in the southern extent of the North Atlantic from gaining significant strength or development.
CAYMAN WEATHER
Light winds and slight seas are expected across the Cayman area for the next 24 hours. Radar images show a few clusters of showers within our area mainly concentrated to the southeast of Grand Cayman.
