Three in Custody Following Vehicle Crash.

Police are presently on the scene of a motor vehicle collision at Shamrock Rd in the vicinity of Countryside Newlands.

At approximately 6:45pm today 16th August 2013 a vehicle traveling along Hirst Rd collided with a utility pole.

The occupants then attempted to flee the scene and as a consequence two (2) males and a female were detained by the police.

There were no injuries reported.

Please note that contrary to rumours presently being circulated, the escapees from Northward Prison were not among the occupants of the vehicle.
