Shooting Incident – West Bay.

Further to the earlier release, upon investigation and subsequent medical examination at the Cayman Islands Hospital it was concluded that the injury sustained was not as a result of a gun shot as  reported by the male victim.

The male victim remains in hospital.

Police investigations are continuing in this matter.

West Bay – Shooting Incident.

Police are presently on scene at Kings Rd. West Bay following a reported shooting incident.

Today 17th August 2013 a male reported that about 10:00pm he was walking along Kings Rd when he received a gun shot injury to the back of his leg.

The victim was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital where he is presently being treated.
