Citywealth’s IFC Power Women Top 100 list includes Ogier pair
From Ogier
Sally Edwards, Ogier Partner and Head of Ogier’s Private Client and Trusts team and Fiona Barrie, Chief Operating Officer of Ogier Fiduciary Services Cayman and Head of Ogier Private Wealth in Cayman, have been included in Citywealth’s IFC Power Women Top 100, an A-Z list of influencers and professionals working in the financial services industry in International Finance Centres.
The list celebrates the most powerful women in government, private wealth, private client advisory and philanthropy across the international financial centres, recognising opinion formers, helping to promote business excellence in their home jurisdiction. The Top 100 were selected both from the Citywealth 2013 leaders list, and from recommendations from leading figures in the financial services industry.
Sally joined Ogier in 2003, having previously worked with Eversheds in their London and Birmingham offices, working on a variety of commercial issues, including trading terms, competition law and projects. She is a member of STEP and is also a member of the working party for foundations legislation in Jersey. Fiona has spent 20 years in the Cayman financial services industry and has experience in all areas of offshore financial services, principally trust and corporate administration. She is also a member of STEP, Cayman Islands.
Commenting on the listings, Sally said: “This list is a demonstration of the diverse range of talent and skill that women bring to International Finance Centres. That two of us from Ogier have been included this year is fantastic news and testament to the quality, personalised, cross-jurisdictional service that we offer at Ogier, setting us apart from others in our field.”
