At about 1:44 AM on Saturday, 07th September 2013, a 51-year old business man arrived home in his vehicle off Frank Sound Road. After exiting his vehicle and approaching his front porch, he was confronted by a suspect who shouted, “Hold Up!” The victim then pelted a bottle at the suspect who discharged a firearm. The victim received what appeared to be a gun-shout wound to his left forearm. The suspect then ran off towards the direction of Frank Sound Road and made his escape. When the suspect was running away, the victim noticed a second person running away also.
The ambulance was called by a family member and transported the victim to the George Town Hospital where he underwent surgery, and it was successful.
The first suspect is described as follows:
Slim built, about 130-140 pounds, low cut hair, dark brown complexion, wearing a 3/4 pants, believed to be wearing a t-shirt, and a red bandanna around his face. No description of the second suspect was given.
