GIS Spotlight has set its sights this week on an exciting and unique fair as well as police job prospects for Caymanians, before revisiting provisions for handicapped parking.

The Cayman Islands joins 2,000 organisations from over 100 countries to celebrate International Year of Statistics at an exciting, interactive fair on 24 October 2013.

Join us to learn about this event involving 11 government units. Hear from some of the participants how they will show you the effects of statistics on your everyday life.

After that, we will usher you into the RCIPS headquarters to hear about their recruitment drive which is underway through October. Tune in to learn who qualifies for entry into this exciting job, and how you can apply. Hear also about prospects for upward mobility for young officers with great potential.

For the last stop, we once again focus on the law that relates to vehicles with handicapped parking spots and stickers for persons with disabilities. See how social media is now playing a part to ensure that people respect the blue spots which are for the sole use of vehicles bearing handicapped stickers. Find out the consequences of breaking this law.
